Mr. Ullrich has over 20 years experience in mineral exploration and geoscience. He has been Chief Geologist North America for Antofagasta Minerals plc since 2011, investigating the region’s copper potential through extensive property evaluations and management of drill programs in Alaska and Canada. Prior to Antofagasta, he was Senior Geologist for Almaden Minerals, where he managed the drill program for the team’s discovery of the Ixtaca Ag-Au deposit in Mexico. Mr. Ullrich also established the Ar-Ar geochronology lab at the University of British Columbia and studied the Candelaria Cu-Au mine, Chile, while at Queen’s University. Mr. Ullrich is an Elected Director on the Board of the Association for Mineral Exploration BC.
Clifford Boychuk has been a Director of Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. since inception. He is currently President of a private diamond core exploration company and is actively involved is several private and public companies.
Mr. Dufresne is the President of Apex Geoscience, a ~60-person geological consultancy. With over 25 years of professional experience in all aspects of project generation, geological interpretation and project management ranging from grass roots exploration projects up to feasibility staged project Mr. Dufresne has extensive experience with a wide range of commodities and types of deposits as well as involvement in a number of scientific government studies. Mr. Dufresne has conducted property audits across North America and Australia and authored independent technical reports. His client list has included senior and junior mining companies, and government geological surveys. Mr. Dufresne is a Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (since 1989). He is also a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Geological Association of Canada, and Association of Exploration Geochemists. Mr. Dufresne obtained his M.Sc. in Economic Geology from the University of Alberta, and a. B.Sc. In Geology with a minor in Chemistry, from UNC-Wilmington.
A graduate of Queen’s University (1990), Mr. McPherson has broad business acumen, having worked extensively in branding, strategic planning, marketing and advertising in both domestic and international markets across diverse industry categories. He has served the junior resources sector in recent years in investor relations, corporate development and financing roles, most recently as the VP Communications for West Melville Metals Inc. and previously as the Director of Marketing for Aurora Mineral Resource Group and The Discovery Group of Companies.
Mr. Back is currently Head of Commodities Investments for BTG Pactual Commodities, which is based in London. BTG Pactual Commodities is a global commodity trading firm owned by BTG Pactual, the largest investment banking and asset management group in Latin America. Prior to his current role, Mr. Back was Head of Investments for Reuben Brothers Resources, an international commodity trading and investment company owned by the Reuben Brothers Group. Mr. Back was also previously Managing Director of Hatch Corporate Finance, the corporate finance subsidiary of the Hatch Group, an international consulting and engineering firm focused on the metals and mining sectors.
Donald R. Taylor
Donald Taylor is former Chief Operating Officer for Arizona Mining and the 2018 Thayer Lindsley Award winner for his discovery of the Taylor Pb-Zn-Ag Deposit in Arizona. Mr. Taylor has more than 25 years of mineral exploration experience with precious and base metals on five continents, taking projects from exploration to mine development. He has worked extensively for large and small cap companies, including BHP Minerals, Bear Creek Mining, American Copper and Nickel, Doe Run Resources, and Westmont Mining Company.
He is a Licensed Professional Geologist in several eastern and western states and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Taylor has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Science degree from University of Missouri at Rolla.
Ms. Elaine Ellingham M.Sc., MBA, PGeo, is a geologist with over 35 years’ experience with major and junior mining companies in exploration, business development, investor relations and senior executive roles. She spent eight years with the Toronto Stock Exchange serving in various capacities and has held directorships over the past ten years for several junior explorers through to mid-tier producers, where she has been a major contributor to strategic direction including hands-on with management in several situations. This included serving as a Director of Richmont Mines for eight years, six as lead director, as well as stepping in as interim CEO in 2014, and through to its recent take-over by Alamos Gold. She is currently a Director of the Prospectors and Developers Association and a member of the Ontario Securities Commissions’ Small and Medium Enterprises Advisory Committee. She is currently an active director on the boards of Alamos Gold, Aurania Resources, and Almaden Minerals.
Alan received a B.Sc. in geology from the University of Toronto in 1976 and an M.Sc. in geophysics from Macquarie University in 1989. From 1976 to 1990 he worked as a geophysicist in exploration and resource development in Canada and Australasia. From 1990 to 2012 he was employed by Inco /Vale as a senior geophysicist and then as Manager of Geophysics with responsibility for global exploration. As Chief Geophysicist for Vale Global Exploration Alan worked on geophysical applications for base metals, iron, manganese, coal and fertilizers (potash and phosphate) as well as target generation using regional and global data sets. Alan is currently working as a consultant with his own company Geoscience North
Mr. John Hayes was, until his recent retirement, a Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets, which he had joined in 2003. As a mining equity analyst, he covered precious and base metal companies globally from the exploration to production stage. In addition to his work in capital markets, he has over 17 years of geological experience ranging from regional surveys to advanced exploration. Mr. Hayes graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Geology (1989) and a Master of Science in Geology (1997). He also holds an MBA from Dalhousie University (2003). He is a member (P.Geo.) of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador.
